Our strategy emphasizes regenerative and organic practices, which has been shown to sequester large amounts of carbon, offsetting half of all US GHG emissions if applied widely. By implementing regenerative and organic practices, the strategy seeks to improve soil health, reduce soil erosion, and increase water retention, ultimately aiming to minimize fertilizer inputs and improve productive yield.
Our team sources farmland through a network of farming partners and conservation groups, aiming to minimize the use of brokered deals and auctions. We focus on investing in off-market farming properties to help reduce competitive costs and take advantage of market inefficiencies.
Our strategy focuses on finding attractive farming properties with solid financial AND impact values such as: emission reduction and removal payments, ecosystem services, reforestation/afforestation and renewable energy on non-farmable portions of the properties, land mitigation transactions for both environmental and species rehabilitation among others.
